Business process outsourcing company Zenta has developed a short-sale program that it says complies with the federal Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) program. Implemented in partnership with an unnamed distressed-asset subservicer, the workflow-based process management system adheres to the latest HAFA guidelines and timetables, Zenta says.
HAFA documents are all pre-populated within the platform, with data entered in the workflow process, and HAFA data fields that are required in monthly reporting to Fannie Mae are maintained for ease in reporting and tracking, Zenta adds. The platform also includes online offer management, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act-compliant facilities and non-HAFA recommendations.
