According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have stopped all activity related to foreclosure cases that had been referred to the Law Offices of David J. Stern, which is under investigation by state officials.

The government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) ceased referring new cases to the Plantation, Fla.-based firm earlier this month. The GSEs' latest announcement affects all cases that ‘are not already subject to a foreclosure pause,’ the Wall Street Journal says.
