AME Financial Corp., a national wholesale lender based in Georgia, has gone live with the Mortgage Builder loan origination platform developed and marketed by Mortgage Builder Software.

Use of the system accompanies AME Financial's growth, as the company recently opened offices in Denver and Portland, Ore. Wayne Bonertz, vice president of AME Financial, says the company has seen an uptick in demand for Federal Housing Administration (FHA) products, and he cites Mortgage Builder's direct-to-FHA connectivity as a reason for choosing the system. He also praises the LOS' reporting capabilities.

"Mortgage Builder's built-in secondary marketing reporting was critical for us, and the included compliant document engine saved us the additional cost of drawing docs from a third-party provider on every loan," Bonertz says. "We will be using the electronic document management feature soon, and that will take us off paper – a further savings on each transaction."
