Tiffany Malm-Ruiz has joined USRES, a provider of real estate owned (REO) asset management, default management and valuation solutions to the mortgage industry, to help manage the firm’s REO division.
Malm-Ruiz has extensive experience in default mortgage servicing and asset management, including vendor management. Most recently, she was assistant vice president for portfolio management at Phoenix Asset Management in Salt Lake City, where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of all segments of the REO process.
She has also held account management positions at Robert J. Jackson & Associates, Green River Capital and Select Portfolio Servicing.
In her new role, Malm-Ruiz is responsible for the oversight and management of USRES’ REO division, alongside Gene Shibata, REO supervisor. Malm-Ruiz is specifically charged with REO client relations, procedural analysis/audit, compliance adherence benchmarking, and policy review/analysis, as well as other managerial responsibilities.
