Total Mortgage Launches Mortgage Processing As Service Platform

Milford, Conn.-based Total Mortgage Services LLC has introduced Total Mortgage Processing, a mortgage-processing platform.

Total Mortgage Services says the platform is for mortgage lenders, community banks, credit unions and third-party originators to originate more mortgage loans, scale capacity to market demands, increase profitability, enhance service levels, remain fully compliant and maintain customer relationships.

According to the company, Total Mortgage Processing can support retail or wholesale channel originators through either an existing network of preferred service providers or a network recommended by Total Mortgage.

Total Mortgage says the platform includes the following features:

á Automated and streamlined process from setup to funding;
á Access to a catalog of mortgage loan products;
á Ginnie Mae direct lender providing support in the areas of Federal Housing Administration lending;
á Coordination of loans through automated underwriting system;
á Mortgage loan processors assigned to each account;
á Client control over level of contact with customer;
á Improved customer service and response times;
á Access to preferred and evaluated service providers;
á Ordering and monitoring third party services – appraisals, title, credit updates, etc.;
á Ability to scale up or down, depending on mortgage lending environment;
á Better management of talent resources and cost infrastructure; and
á System integration in accordance to client guidelines.
