Westlake Village, Calif.-based Timios National Corp., a national provider of real estate services to banks, financial institutions and mortgage lenders, has expanded into the title insurance market with its acquisition of Glenn County Title Co. (GCTC), a privately held title company serving businesses and residents in Glenn County, Calif.
As per the deal, GCTC will be fully absorbed into Timios and serve as the primary title and settlement subsidiary of the company. As such, its financial results will be consolidated under Timios Inc. and into Timios National Corp.
In addition, Richard Thomas, president of GCTC, will join Timios' executive management team. He and his wife, DeAnnah Thomas, owned and operated Glenn County Title Co. for the last 15 years, according to a press release.
