Shore Bank, the banking subsidiary of Shore Financial Corp., has launched an online mortgage origination Web site at www.ShoreBank.com. This Web site gives users the ability to research interest rates and loan products, and apply for a mortgage online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the company says, adding that applicants can apply for fixed-rate home loans, adjustable-rate mortgages and home equity loans.

Online tools included in the site include a mortgage calculator, product descriptions and help with the mortgage application questions that are displayed on the screen. When Shore Bank receives a loan request, one of the bank's loan officers reviews it and contacts the applicant to complete the mortgage process via telephone or e-mail, or face-to-face.

Visitors to the site can also sign up for Shore Bank's Rate Watch to be notified by e-mail when an interest rate hits their desired target, or receive all the rates for a specific product.
