Sharron P.A. Levine has been promoted to director of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA).

Levine joined the FHFA in June 2012 and has served as an associate general counsel since September of that year. She practiced law for 30 years and, prior to joining the FHFA, served in the general counsel's office of Fannie Mae from 1999 to 2011, departing as a vice president and deputy general counsel for the multifamily housing division. Prior to that, she held various other legal positions in the housing industry.

In her new role, Levine will oversee OMWI's mission of creating and supporting initiatives that promote the inclusion of minorities and women and advocate for diversity and inclusion across FHFA's business and employment activities and at the entities the FHFA regulates.
