Secondary Interactive, a Denver-based provider of mortgage pipeline risk management, best execution and loan allocation services and technology, has hired Jim Stauss as director of sales and business development.
Stauss comes to Secondary Interactive from Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, where he served as managing director, covering the company's national institutional client base. During his tenure, Stauss co-managed the whole loan trading group, including performing and nonperforming assets, servicing rights and agency eligible loans from bank portfolios. He also co-developed and co-managed the company's mortgage-backed securities specified pool trading program and traded fixed income securities.
Prior to Janney Montgomery Scott, Stauss worked as vice president at Raymond James & Associates and served as managing director and principal at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.
