According to the company, the program is open to homeowners in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut whose properties have been damaged by flood waters but either do not have flood insurance or whose homeowners insurance refuses to provide coverage. Under the program, eligible homeowners can receive a special U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development 203K loan to rebuild their homes at low interest rates, RHFC adds.

The company established a new Web page for hurricane assistance. Furthermore, RHFC has pledged to donate a percentage of all revenue from this program to benefit victim relief funds serving victims of Hurricane Irene in the Northeast.

‘It is important that local and regional business take immediate steps to do what they can, with the resources they have, to help those affected by this tragedy,’ says Tom Marinaro, president of RHFC.
