David Winoker, president of New York-based Winoker Realty Co., was killed in a skydiving accident on June 15.
Winoker Realty Co. specializes in commercial and residential properties in New York's Fashion District. According to his company's website, Winoker was personally involved in leasing more than 1 million square feet of commercial space and in repositioning prominent office properties.
Metro New York reports that Winoker's death occurred when a tandem parachute shared by Winoker and a skydiving instructor failed to open. Winoker is survived by his wife and three children.
