New Firm Advises Communities On Federal Fund Use

Property Disposition Inc. (APD) and Waterfall Asset Management (WAM) have jointly launched APD Solutions LLC (APDS), a new company that will provide neighborhood planning for areas that have been particularly hard-hit by foreclosures. Headquartered in Atlanta, APDS will provide asset management, property acquisition, real estate disposition, due diligence and valuation, and property management services. The company will be headed by CEO Vaugh D. Irons, who was formerly a national director of expanding markets for Freddie Mac. ‘One of our goals is to provide strategic counsel and real estate expertise to those local governments and organizations that have secured federal funding through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program,’ Irons says. APDS says its business strategy is twofold: to provide strategic management services and assist with the implementation of revitalization efforts, and to provide comprehensive real estate services to institutional investors, local governments, banks and community stakeholders. Beyond its Atlanta headquarters, APDS has formed and staffed offices in Chicago; Dallas; Jacksonville, Fla.; and San Francisco. SOURCE: APD So
