NAFCU Bolsters Compliance Team

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) has hired Michael Coleman as regulatory compliance counsel, tasked with assisting NAFCU members with a variety of compliance issues and writing compliance articles for NAFCU publications, as well as addressing regulatory topics at NAFCU events.

Prior to joining NAFCU, Coleman was a legal counsel and tax advisor for the Federated States of Micronesia in the Department of Finance and Administration, where he advised the Secretary of Finance on all legal matters, primarily those involving national tax laws and regulations. Licensed to practice law in the Federated States of Micronesia and the Commonwealth of Virginia, he holds a law degree from George Mason University School of Law.
