MortgageFlex Systems Inc., a provider of loan origination and servicing technology, has released the LoanQuest Origination Branch Portal, which enables loan officers and other mortgage workers to input leads, take loan applications and check loan status from any location – effectively eliminating the need for handwritten notes and phone calls.
Further, designated branch personnel can use the simplified user interface to start a loan application or assign a loan officer with minimal training, the company says in a release.
MortgageFlex says it developed the system after it was contacted by one of its clients, a ‘top 50 New England lender’ with more than 400 locations, that was looking to bring greater efficiency to its existing origination process. Specifically, the lender had found that the existing process of branch employees taking mortgage loan information from customers, inputting it into a notes system, and then having a loan officer call them back no longer worked very well.
The portal is seamlessly integrated with the company's LoanQuest loan origination system and provides users with real-time data.
‘When our lender wanted a simple tool that everyone in all of its 400 branches could use, we were quick to meet that need,’ says Craig Bechtle, chief operating officer of MortgageFlex Systems.
