Mortgage Cadence, an Accenture company, recently purchased a licensed copy of FirstClose‘s proprietary software in order to facilitate a “lights-out” integration between the two companies’ platforms, thus enabling Mortgage Cadence to complete faster integrations with large national vendors.
FirstClose is a provider of end-to-end technology solutions for refinance and home equity lenders nationwide. The company’s flagship product, the FirstClose Report, is a comprehensive refinance and home equity loan solution with capabilities to deliver title, flood, valuation and other important data elements in one report.
Overall, the agreement between Mortgage Cadence and FirstClose will, in phases, provide Mortgage Cadence customers and vendors with a better, faster and more cost-effective means by which to connect with one another to order and deliver any mortgage settlement service, FirstClose says in a release.
In addition, Mortgage Cadence and FirstClose are exploring additional areas of collaboration to allow Mortgage Cadence customers to access unique FirstClose offerings, including faster access to small to midsize appraisers and local title companies, as well as the FirstClose Report.
FirstClose recently announced that 25 new clients signed up for its software in the fourth quarter. The company also announced that it has added staffing to support its recent growth.
Among the new hires are Matt Veitch and Leigh Richey, who will serve as vice president of sales and marketing and director of marketing, respectively.
Veitch has more than 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C sales, organizational development, and management. In his new role, he will focus on corporate growth, developing and scaling the inside sales department and generating a creative organization that empowers new and existing employees to excel.
Richey has 10 years of digital marketing experience. In her new role, she is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all of the company’s marketing and communication strategies, as well as maximizing revenue through branding and lead generation campaigns.
