National Home Loan Advocates, which describes itself as a consumer-friendly mortgage advocacy company, has launched an accreditation program for lenders.

The program will help consumers find lenders that operate in the best interest of borrowers and conduct their business according to the NHLA Lender Code of Ethics, the company says.

‘We offer our Advocate Accreditation Program to provide consumer-friendly lenders a platform to differentiate themselves from the others, while helping consumers find them,’ says NHLA Founder and CEO David Dickey. ‘While we do not refer consumers directly to a specific lender, we do help consumers discern the mortgage marketplace and find lenders who have made a commitment to have their best interest in mind."
