MIAC Hires Brendan Teeley As VP Of Whole Loan Sales And Trading

Brendan Teeley has joined Mortgage Industry Advisory Corp. (MIAC), offering capital market advisory services and software tools for financial institutions, as vice president of whole loan sales and trading.

Teeley has more than 15 years of real estate finance experience, including loan origination and secondary asset sales. Previously, he worked as a senior associate at Avison Young Capital Markets, working on the company's whole loan desk brokering a spectrum of mortgage assets. His clients included banks, funds and sophisticated mortgage asset investors.

In addition, Teeley previously brokered for the whole loan sales desk at Cantor Fitzgerald. Prior to Cantor, he was consistently a top producer at AXA Equitable, building a successful securities, qualified plans and insurance business by working with C-level executives and treasurers. Prior to that, he worked at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a sales director, increasing origination in excess of 40%. He began his real estate finance career at one of the country's top-producing originators at a major Midwest firm.

In his new role, Teeley will lead MIAC's whole loan sales and trading desk.
