The New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM), in conjunction with the New Jersey courts, will be sponsoring a statewide Foreclosure Mediation Training Seminar and Forum.

The session will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rutgers University Labor Education Center in New Brunswick, and is open to any mediator currently on the New Jersey court's foreclosure mediation roster.

‘We need to find ways to increase participation in the foreclosure mediation program by homeowners and lenders alike so that we can find win-win situations for all involved,’ says NJAPM President Robert J. McDonnell. "This training and forum will bring together the main players in the foreclosure mediation program so that we can work together to improve the quality and effectiveness of the program."

Foreclosure mediation roster members who are interested in attending the program can sign up online at www.njapm.org. There is no charge for the program.
