HMDA Hearings Begin July 15 In Atlanta

deral Reserve Board will hold the first of four public hearings on potential revisions to Regulation C, which implements the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), on July 15 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The full Atlanta hearing agenda, which is available [link=http://www.federalreserve.gov/communitydev/hmda_agenda20100715.htm]online[/link] , will include statements by representatives from community and consumer organizations, mortgage lenders, researchers, and other interested parties. Members of the public are invited to present five-minute commentaries during an open-mike period, while written statements of any length may be submitted for the record. Additional hearings will be held on Aug. 5 at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, on Sept. 16 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Sept. 24 at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C.
