Genworth Mortgage Insurance has realigned and expanded its sales team to help mortgage originators grow their business and provide better customer service.
The new team structure will drive strong cross-collaboration to support the evolving needs of customers looking to prosper in the expanding home purchase market, says the company. Genworth MI also introduced lower rates and expanded guidelines to ensure its offerings are competitive for most borrowers and loan scenarios.
Matt Young, senior vice president for sales, says the company expanded its sales team by 10% in 2013, and he expects additional expansion this year.
The new sales team structure divides the country into five regions (versus the previous three), with a regional vice president overseeing teams that will serve the needs of lenders of all sizes and business strategies in each area, Genworth MI notes.
Regional vice presidents include Erin Kirkeeng (West), Chad Gomoll (South Central), Maureen Doherty (North Central), Michael Haboush (Northeast) and Robert Szarek (Southeast).
