The Federal Reserve Board has announced the agenda and panelists for the last of its four public hearings regarding potential revisions to Regulation C, which implements the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).Â
The final hearing will be held Sept. 24 at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. Federal Reserve Governor Elizabeth A. Duke will deliver the opening remarks. Three 90-minute panels sessions featuring representatives from federal and state government agencies, the mortgage banking industry, academia, nonprofits and the private sector will discuss the potential revisions.
Live video of the event will be available online. Members of the public will be able to express their opinions during an open-mike period, and written statements of any length may be submitted for the record.
