eMASON has made several enhancements to its Clarifire application that the company says will allow servicers to respond more rapidly to federal loan modification guidelines.
The Clarifire updates provide automatic decisioning and processing of loans that fall out of the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). The application features certified Fannie Mae workout rules, including those for the recently introduced Alternative Modification program.
In addition, the Clarifire application has reporting capabilities, determines principal forbearance thresholds for positive and negative net present values, and submits loan volumes directly to Fannie Mae's HSSN via Clarifire’s bulk-upload process.
