Salient Business Solutions, a provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, says Pittsburgh, Pa.-based United Lender Services (ULS) has selected Salient as its third-party title processing provider. As such, Salient is responsible for the preparation of all title commitments on behalf of ULS.
ULS was created in June 2005 as a centralized processing platform for United General Title Insurance Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of First American. In early 2008, United General Title Insurance sold all of its operating assets to United Lender Services LLC. This transition led ULS Corp to migrate to a new operating platform using different technology. At that time, ULS Corp entered a pilot with Salient.
