Dollar Bank Adjusts Servicing Operations

ely held Dollar Bank is moving its consumer and installment loan servicing operations from the bank's Pittsburgh headquarters to its Canton, Ohio-based Security Savings Mortgage Corp. subsidiary, according to the [link=http://www.bizjournals.com/pittsburgh/stories/2009/06/29/daily19.html][u]Pittsburgh Business Journal[/u][/link]. The Journal notes that Dollar Bank is the city's fourth-largest financial institution according to deposits. The bank has reportedly added 10 jobs at Security Savings and changed the subsidiary's mortgage unit, The Mortgage Service Center, to Dollar Bank Servicing Center. "Dollar wanted to put all of their services on one software platform," Security Savings President Libby Preston told the Journal. "They were being served by two different types of software, and by putting it on one, we're able to get continuity and can see the lending relationships with clients." SOURCE: Pittsburgh Business
