Capitalizing on its experience reviewing mortgage loans for violations of representations and warranties, Digital Risk has begun proactively applying its forensic capabilities to the front-end, mortgage origination process, the company says.

‘We have the most seasoned underwriters in the business, doing 300,000 forensic reviews,’ says Alex Santos, Digital Risk's president, adding that the company has assembled a team of business developers to work with brokers and lenders.

The group will be providing products and services to lenders, conduits, originators and warehouse lenders, including Federal Housing Administration lenders who have regulatory responsibility for quality control, pre-funding and post-closing quality reviews.
