Shelton, Conn.-based Clayton Holdings LLC, a provider of loan due diligence, surveillance and consulting services, has announced that Scott McNulla has joined the company as vice president of regulatory compliance.

In this newly created position, Clayton says McNulla will be responsible for overseeing the company's regulatory compliance department, providing oversight and input for due diligence and transaction engagements, and maintaining the company's regulatory compliance engine, eCLAS. He will report directly to Ron Castro, managing director of securitization.

According to Clayton, McNulla brings more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience to the company. Most recently, he was director of regulatory compliance at Allonhill, where he developed an independent compliance review team to specialize in performing the compliance portion of loan-level due diligence reviews.

Prior to that, McNulla worked on the mortgage technology side as senior director of compliance operations at Ellie Mae and as senior vice president of professional services and vice president of systems integration at Mavent.
