California Members Title Insurance Co., a full-service title insurer and settlement organization owned by California Credit Union, has been launched to serve the residential and commercial property needs of credit unions, mortgage bankers and lenders throughout the state.
Frank Berriz, who has over 40 years of experience in the title insurance business, will lead the company as president and CEO.
Though most title insurance companies outsource many of their functions, California Members Title Insurance will do everything locally, Berriz says. ‘For any of our credit union, mortgage banker and institutional lender clients, they will be dealing with us right here in California – not talking with someone in an offshore call center,’ he says.
